I raise honey bees and render the wax after I extract the honey. What is left over I use in my products. Straight from the hive.

My grandparents always had a bar of beeswax in the kitchen drawer and one in the basement workshop.

So many uses in a tiny little bar. Each ROUND or BUDDY comes with a drawstring bag and use card with many ideas on how to make your life less sticky and squeaky.

Keep some beeswax in your home, workshop, garage and basement. You never know when it will come in handy.

Beeswax is known as a mulit-wax and can be used as a lubricant, polish, and of course, ingredient in beauty products.

It is used to protect metalwork and will leave a nice sheen while retaining all of the texture and detail of the piece; at the same time preventing rust. You can simply rub wax on the piece or melt and apply with cloth or brush.

Sewing thread is pulled across a bar of beeswax to strengthen and leave a smooth coating on the thread. This makes it less apt to snag on material. It will glide effortlessly thru the fabric if hand sewing.

Coat nails and screws, once you do they won't splinter the wood you are working with.

Don't forget about squeaky and sticky drawers, doors, cabinets, old furniture joints and zippers.

We are in Upstate NY, less than 3 miles from Lake Ontario. The bees make some good honey and in-turn some good wax. The wax I render is strained lightly to keep as much good stuff from the hive without letting unwanted particles through. The wax smells wonderful with the fresh aroma's of the hive, and honey.

All my products are made in small batches with quality ingredients.
